JAMC are somehow part of my music “childhood”: probably the very first of my clumsy attempts to become a popstar (still trying!).
It was at the end of 1990: at that time I had heard of neither JAMC nor the Pixies yet. A friend of mine just formed a band, and they needed a temporary singer. He made me listen to a song a few times and then “Sing it!!”. It was “Head on”. I invented all the words, obviuosly.

yes, it’s very possible, there is an english version of that album. i think they’re far better in swedish though. the lyrics are far superior in swedish and it just sounds better.

if you want to know them better, i recommend listening to their first album (”kent”), “vapen och ammunition” (2002) and “du & jag döden” (2005). they are my favorites. (i’m an album-listener, not really a song-listener). [translated: guns and ammunition, you & me death.]

the one you linked! I knew this one! but.. I remember an english version of it. is it possible?
I could be wrong, but I remember I was in an HMV store in London (feb / narch 1999): I bought Blur’s “Tender” on cassette (!!) and saw this single of Kent with a sort of red cover.
however.. I had “Isola” on a copied cassette (no titles..), then I remember a song like “gravity” or something like this.
and a video with them playing live with.. a blood red background.
and nothing else.

oh, you should envy me, cos that star-shaped pin is not mine! i was dreaming and wished it was mine. still do. i found a pic of it on the jamc site april skies (http://aprilskies.amniisia.com/). i’ve never even had a jamc t-shirt

(it makes sense. maybe “i’m not as big a fan as you are” sounds better.)
