While waiting to write something resembling a post (know what I’m referring to? Iinteresting subject, fancy adjectives, indie arty stuff, intriguing vid), here’s the.. result of a discussion I had with a friend of mine about girlbands. Only a few days ago, in a sportswear shop (can’t tell how it started.. the last thing I remember is that I was looking at myself in a mirror, with a pair of green and yellow sneakers on).
From The Bangles to Le Tigre, from L7 to the Spice Girls, I thought we mentioned the entire female pop / rock world.
But.. at night, lights off, head on pillow, I realize that “Uh! We forgot Sleater Kinney!!”.
Un-for-giv-a-ble. I was about to give him a call and tell him about the crime we committed.
I would have liked to upload “Jumpers” (a pure masterpiece), but it’s so sad, too sad for this site (it’s not for nothing that we have a pink smiling logo, here).
