Video of the Day: “La Llorona” by Beirut
This video is really lovely. It would be better if Beirut was actually in it, though. Especially if he was naked.

As it stands, you should read this interview. It’s always Geologist doing the interviews. I assume it’s because he is yet unmarried and is looking for a mate (me). Hi, Brian.
I really wish my nose would stop running….
What? Oh, right. This video is cool. Also, Kleenex.
I have never heard of canadian Stars before. I read they’re somehow famous there (Juno-award nomination, three of them are members of Broken Social Scene, they had a best-selling single in the past, etc..).
I happened to get to know them through Sylvia ’s myspace page (she added this song in the playlist).
Okay, it probably sounds […]
So the CBC has asked Canadians to nominate songs to celebrate the historic election of Barrack Obama. One of the songs on the list?
Rufus Wainwright - “Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk”
Someone please tell me how I feel about this:
Momo & The Coop - “Leaf House” (Animal Collective)
Directed by John Cameron Mitchell, who is an amazing human being.
(Don’t watch this, Mum.)
P.S. Typing “Sisters” right after “Scissor” is really difficult. I tried to spell it “Scistors.” Srsly.
P.P.S. Yes, I KNOW this video came out in 2004.
