It’s all about the singles
Yesterday, guilty late, I happened to see “Rat is dead” video by fabulous brazilian favs CSS.
They’re gorgeous as ever, Lovefoxx is adorable, but.. this single doesn’t make me go crasiee.
It’s the same thing I wrote in a previous post a couple of months ago, more or less.
Differently from then, I do have their album, now. And it’s great (I still prefer their first one anyway). I’m starting to think that they simply choose the wrong singles: “Rat is dead”, in my opinion, doesn’t represent the mood of the album. It’s too.. rocky? too guitar oriented?
I was about to upload the video when.. uh.. today they just released their third single, “Move”. I do love coincidences!
For the 30-something out there.. imagine Howard Jones‘ “Like to get to know you well” clashing with Bananarama’s “Cruel summer” played by ABC. 80s-alike stuff in modern times, with style.
Great single, funnily gross vid.
However.. think you deserve both of them.
Enjoy
