Birth of a superband. No, of a band. No, of.. whatever!..
In the end.. I surrended.

I said “Yes” to “Why don’t we try to rehearse together? Just to see what happens”.
And so.. last Tuesday, here we were: me and Filippo facing each other, imbracing our dusty and rusty guitars (the guitars were spotless clean, actually. The dust and the rust were in our fingers only).
Just like me, Filippo had a band in the past (they split in.. 2006?). Its name was Osram and they played a sort of.. so-called post rock (June of 44, Slint, Mogway, just to get the idea..). They even got to release 2 albums on a tiny yet fierce sardinian label (Zahr Records).
I really can’t figure out what could ever come out of this weird project: his mantra-like math guitar tabs have nothing to share with my pop attitude, but.. however, last Tuesday we had a really good time: we celebrated this bizarre union with chicken nuggets, potato croquettes and a bottle of (cheap) red wine. You can’t imagine how much better everything tastes when you eat it while surrounded by amplifiers and instruments.
I would have liked to find a video about people who CAN’T play guitar: you know.. we are kinda opposite of what the word virtuoso or the expression “technical skill” mean.
Failing all else..
