No, it is not weird to be attracted to a dead person, unless it’s the fact that they’re dead that makes them attractive (it could be an extreme form of attraction to the unobtainable, in order to protect the delicate emotions of the live person…)

    that’s not fair, no no..
It’s been a good 8 years that I’ve been going in and out of the rehab.
I’m affected by the “give me my 90s back”’s syndrome.
(it’s not that unbearable.. I think that the “so what’s wrong with my 80’s milli-vanilli style shoulder pads?”’s syndrome is far, far more worrying..)
I almost thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel:
no more irresistible need to wear woodsman flannel shirts,
no more tears every time mtv plays some old tunes by the dinosaur jr or even supergrass,
no more ridiculous attempts to let my facial hair grow and.. snip snip! (we in italy say “zac!”) shave & shape my goatee like soundgarden’s chris cornell.

    and now.. this video.

a sudden and violent dive into my nineties again..
    it’s not fair. at all.

Yes, longing for the 90s is far less a crime than longing for the 80s.

I have that problem too, actually. I long for the days of Neutral Milk Hotel and when Of Montreal didn’t suck… but, alas. On the plus side, we now live in the age of Animal Collective and Devendra Banhart and ScarJo covering Tom Waits… hmm… kay maybe that last one’s a little iffy.
